Index of detailing

Eightdisciplines.Onestandard.

The work isn't hidden in the marketing. It's in the joints and finishes, visible only when you stand inside the finished room.

Heritage lacework & ornamental mouldings

Period authenticity.

Cast iron lace, balcony spandrels, friezes and brackets. We work with specialist suppliers to match heritage profiles exactly, or commission new patterns where the property warrants it.

Custom cornicing & classical trims

Cornice geometry, hand-set.

Deep cornice profiles, hand-set on substrate that won't move. The reason a period room reads correctly is in the geometry, scotia depth and the way the cornice meets the picture rail.

Stonework & façade detailing

Lime where heritage demands it.

Bluestone, sandstone, render over masonry, polychrome brick. Pointing and rendering in lime where heritage demands it; cement only where the wall can take it.

Feature staircases

The geometry of the home.

Cantilevered stone, curved timber, joined steel and oak. The staircase sets the geometry for the rest of the home; we engineer and detail it with the architect before slab pours.

Bespoke joinery integration

Solid timber, made to drawings.

Solid-timber and veneered cabinetry made in trusted workshops to architect drawings. Hidden hinges, soft-close everywhere, integrated handles and pop-outs only where they belong.

Glass pool fencing

Frameless, channel-set.

Frameless pool fencing in low-iron glass, set in floor channels rather than spigots where the deck allows. Compliant with AS 1926 without compromising sightlines.

Landscape architecture integration

Designed in, not stitched on.

We design the build with the landscape in mind, not as an afterthought. Drainage, root protection, paving falls and outdoor lighting circuits all pre-planned, not stitched in late.

Outdoor kitchens & terraces

Built indoors, dressed for the garden.

Stone benchtops rated for UV, drainage that works in Melbourne weather, integrated gas, plumbing and rangehood ventilation. Built like an indoor kitchen, dressed for the garden.

Detailing in practice

Lacework,cornicing,stone,oak.

Hand-set profiles, mitred joints, lime mortar. The discipline lives in the close-up.
